After customers of the firm’s client, an owner of bona fide coin operated amusement machines (“COAMs”), attempted to avoid their contractual obligations to our client, we took the dispute to arbitration under the auspices of the Georgia Lottery Corporation’s regulatory jurisdiction. The arbitrator’s final award upheld the validity of our client’s contracts, thereby requiring our client’s COAMs to remain and operate in the stores, and awarded our client its attorney fees and expenses of arbitration, a result affirmed upon the arbitrator’s denial of the customers’ motion for reconsideration.
