Georgia Court of Appeals Stands By Ruling Favorable to Robbins Firm Client

Last week, the Georgia Court of Appeals summarily denied a motion to reconsider a decision in favor of our client in a business litigation matter.  The case involves the highly regulated coin-operated amusement machine industry. The Court of Appeals initially ruled that, even though there was a new law regulating industry practices, our clients’ contracts with their customers remained valid.  Thus, our clients could have a claim for tortious interference with their contracts.  The opposing party moved the court to reconsider its decision, but the court swiftly rejected that request, preserving the favorable outcome for our client.
