Brett Harrell

Brett Harrell brings an impressive career of public service and private-sector success to Robbins Government Relations (RGR). Brett joined RGR in February 2021 after a distinguished ten-year career serving in the Georgia House of Representatives concluding his service as Chair of the chief tax-writing Ways and Means Committee. In the Georgia House, Brett also served at various times as Vice Chair of Rules, Vice Chair of Regulated Industries, Vice Chair of Budget and Fiscal Affairs Oversight, Ex-Officio on Appropriations, and a member of Transportation and MARTOC Committees.

Prior to serving in the Georgia House, Brett’s public service includes 5-years as Executive Director of one of Georgia’s most successful Community Improvement Districts (CID). He has also served as Mayor, Council Member and Planning and Zoning Commissioner in a thriving, growing Georgia city. Additionally, former Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue appointed Brett to serve on the Georgia Department of Community Affairs Board, the Governor’s Congestion Mitigation Task Force, and the Commission for Service and Volunteerism.

Brett’s private-sector experiences include Municipal Marketing and Government Affairs for the largest privately held waste disposal company in the United States. Brett was the owner and operator a multi-location franchise printing company for over twenty years. He also served as an Area Sales Manager for one of the largest consumer products companies worldwide.

Brett earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia with an emphasis in marketing and finance. He is a graduate of the Coverdell Leadership Institute and a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow.
